Civil Engineering

Civil engineering is a division of engineering  that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams,power plants,airport runways, and buildings.
 
It is one of the oldest engineering subjects and the largest field of engineering.
A candidate who specializes in this field is known as a civil engineers. 
A civil engineer requires not only a high standard of engineering knowledge but also supervisory and administrative skills. 
 
Eligibility :
 
UG: 4 Years
 
For admission in a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed intermediate in science(10+2) examination with science subject such as biology, maths and chemistry. For IITs, It is mandatory to clears JEE - Advance.
 
PG: 2 years
 
For admission into master’s degree, the candidate must have passed bachelor's degree in (B.E/B.Tech)  or any other equivalent branches of engineering.
